Earth Day & The Story of Stuff

Do you ever become so involved in your life that it’s almost like you live in a bubble?  I don’t know about you but I know it happens to me.   That’s what happened yesterday.  So I’m “outing” myself.  I neglected to post on Earth Day!   As I sit here with my head hung low, I choose to lift my head up and hold it high and get on with it today.  Because if just one person reads this post and checks out the video and ponders   “Hmmmm…..”, it will have been worth it!   Food for thought.  And you don’t have to be a tree hugger.

Pardon my blunder and have a great weekend.

I'm so upset with myself that I forgot yesterday was Earth Day, and I didn't do a post either! I watched about 5 minutes of the video, but then I turned it off because this type of thing just depresses me. I do everything I can to help our earth, including rather obsessive recycling, use E85 gas, etc.,but it sickens me that I know of so many people that don't. Did you see on the news about that oil rig that exploded and is leaking into the ocean? That scares the cr*p out of me. Anyway, Happy Earth Day, one day late!

Hi Maureen,
I'm real familiar with The Story of Stuff. So sad that so many people just don't get it!
I didn' post on Earth Day either. But I did spend time in reflection about all our choices and how they affect our earth.
Country Blessings,
Cindy

I think we can make it earth week, or earth year.
I have gone to work full time and I struggle to find the things I want to post about because I miss the news every night, I don't have time to go anywhere and I can't blog about my job. I mean really, what is a blogger to do?

You know there is no hope for those who start researching their family tree don't you?
This never, ever ends.....evil laugh...you keep looking and looking for one more person, fact, date.

There is no one cause that all of humanity unites on...including issues that affect the environment.

Don't feel guilty about not posting. Those of us who care, and do something about it, knew what day it was. ;)

Thanks for visiting the cottage and commenting on my flea market finds.
